Flor Boho Full Length dress

Introducing the newest piece to our heritage collection, the Flor Boho Full Length Dress. Transforming our beloved embroidered blouse into this vintage inspired, hand sewn lightweight gown. Created in 100% cotton manta fabric, these vibrant marigold florals, a reflection of the artwork being doing generation after generation in regions across Oaxaca, come to life adorning the neckline and hand sewn throughout the entire front panel of the dress. Crochet accents are found in tangerine around the neckline, sleeve and hem of dress.  This piece is entirely hand made by a co-op of women artisans in Oaxaca. A timeless design, vintage in feeling to be worn by the modern woman.

UNIVERSAL SIZE

Measurements are 22"Width x 26"Length 

This dress is created in a 'Universal Size' which fits most women who wear XS to Large. With the dress is designed with an easy flow of fabric that can be cinched with a belt or left to billow with a forgiving drape. 

Our model is 5'9 and an XS.

FABRIC & CARE

Due to the intricate embroidery work, we recommend washing and drying on delicate settings, iron on low.

ARTISAN COMMUNITY

It takes our artisan makers 18 days to make one dress.

The process beings when the cotton 'manta' is cut up in patterns, sewn together washed by hand and dried in order to pre-shrink materials before embroidery taking up to 4 days. From there, the artisans use a small hoop to stretch the fabric and embroider the designs using selected threads taking 14 days at minimum to complete. After that process another 2-4 women crochet taking up to 2 days. Each of these garments reflect generations of traditions for these artisans, making each piece a one-of-a-kind work of art.
