A core pillar of the brand is ensuring that their hundreds of artisan partners across Mexico receive fair, sustainable compensation. This living-wage model inherently costs significantly more than mass-produced fast fashion.
Labor-Intensive Handcrafting
Every piece is a work of textile art. The brand notes that the embroidery alone on a single garment can takeup to three weeks to complete by hand.
Intricate Artisan Techniques
Garments feature specialized, generationally passed-down techniques. This includes weaving on backstrap looms, hand-pulling threads to create cut-out lace, traditional hand crochet finishes at the necklines, and intricate hand-smocking on the dress bodies.
